Even though this train is heading east toward Denver, it is the MNYRO (North Yard to Roper). Why on earth is it heading east? Because the MNYRO derailed between Clay and Plain earlier in the day and this is the back half (57 cars) of the train that didn't derail. The cars will be taken back to the yard and sent west after being inspected.

If you are feeling a little warm, this picture should cool you off! 15 minutes after sunset and the Golden Switch is headed back west toward Golden on BNSF's Golden Sub. The local runs east out of Golden to switch industries along the line between Coors and C&S Junction.
