There is a nice pink glow in the eastern sky as the sun rises early on this October morning. UP 4576 leads the westbound MNYPV into the siding at Leyden. The train will be meeting an eastbound coal load (already out of Rocky) before continuing on west.

Check out the third and fourth units-- a pair of SD40-2's! Built 1974 and 1972-- cool to see these on the mainline in 2007.
