It's pretty rare these days to see three P42's on the California Zephyr, but for a few times in October and November of 2007, such would be the case as seven GrandLuxe Rail Journey cars were added to the end of Amtrak, creating the GrandLuxe Limited. Here, the train passes by the east end of the Leyden on its first journey west toward Emeryville.

A good back lighted shot that shows dramatic railroad view with Denver in the background.
