On a clear Colorado morning - well, clear to the east anyway - the Ski Train meets an eastbound coal load at Rocky. If you look closely, you can see the tail end of an eastbound MRONY holding the main at Clay!

It's just a shame that these really are memories now! Seven decades of having the Ski Train and now it is gone. Here's hoping it'll make a return at some point down the rails!

When I rode the Ski Train I always liked seeing the UP and BNSF crews take the time to give us a roll-by as we flew past on the main. Good memories.
