It is getting late in the afternoon as a southbound HLAUDEN moves past the site of the Longmont Turn derailment three days earlier. Cars that could not be rerailed were pushed to the sides of the track. BNSF then laid "panel" track and got the line reopened. At this point, there is a 25 MPH slow order through the derailment site. The mountain in the distance is Longs Peak.

Thanks, as always, Steve. You are too kind!

My favorite mountain, Longs Peak; my favorite (surviving) Class I, BNSF; and my favorite time of day, just before sunset. Nevermind the cars strewn like toys, it's still beautiful.

Thanks for getting these pictures, Kevin! Truly professional.
