One thing you have to admit...Union Pacific knows how to do passenger trains! New, clean-looking power on a sharp looking set of passenger cars. A UP Officer's Special with a 14-month-old ES44AC is about to duck into Tunnel One.

Hello Nick! The land down from the track to CO-72 is Jefferson County Open Space land. I usually park along CO-72 and then hike up the side of the mountain to Tunnel 1. You can do this without ever setting foot on UP land.

Nice shot Kevin. I have yet to figure out how to make it to that location in all my trips to colorado. Is there a trail that leads up there?
