This shot is remarkably similar to one that I snapped a few weeks earlier at the exact same spot. The time of day - almost 8:00pm - limited the options for places to take this shot. After spending a day on the western slope, UP 1989 comes back to Denver on the MRONY-02.

Good question Jim! That fourth unit is UP 1510 and was being used in Grand Junction on the Montrose Local (among others). It is being returned to Denver so it can get its normal inspection at Burnham.

Nice, Hey, Kevin, what's the fourth unit back? I can see it's an EMD in SP speed lettering (patched), but I can't tell anything else. SP EMD's on the Moffat are about as rare as anything these days...
