Here is an interesting find on the back of the MNYGJ! A Herzog machine is being transported from Denver to Grand Junction. This was in fact a topic of confusion briefly between the dispatcher and the train. They had thought this was a single car, when it fact it is two cars on the manifest. The dispatcher thought an extra car had been picked up from North Yard.

Brandon, it looked as though the dispatcher (based on paperwork in Omaha, I guess?) thought that Herzog unit was a single car from end-to-end when in fact it is two cars. This led to the dispatcher thinking there was an extra car on the train because the manifest listed the Herzog machine as two cars. Does that help, or did I just confuse you even more!?
