The westbound California Zephyr has just exited from the west end of Byers Canyon. The engineer is now throttling up as track speed has increased from 20 MPH to 70 MPH! Despite Amtrak receiving a huge number of new baggage cars at the end of 2014, the new cars still haven't made an appearance on the Zephyr. Email Questions or Comments to the Webmaster.
