UP typically does not run a manifest between Roper, UT and North Yard, CO on Sundays. However, it seems there was enough traffic to demand it on the second third Sunday of 2016. A day later, the MRONYX (The "X" indicating it is an extra, unscheduled run of the train) heads west on the main at Grizzly about four miles east of Glenwood Springs.

Thanks Walt! Yep, you got it! Well, technically I took it from the eastbound onramp coming away from the rest stop (to gain a little elevation). But close enough.

Great shot Kevin, did you take this from the Grizzly rest stop?
