Tuesday, June 13, 2006 - Over the weekend, the Rio Grande Heritage Unit was shipped from Butler, WI to Denver, CO on two trains. The first was the SBUCB-10 (Butler to Council Bluffs) and the second was the SCBDV-11 (Council Bluffs to Denver). The unit arrived in Denver early on the 12th and was moved to the location where it will be unveiled. Today I went over to North Yard at lunch and grab a few shots of the unit with the big blue tarp still on! June 17th won't come fast enough (and it is only four days away).
