I was always a fan of the blue and white "Oakways" SD60's. BNSF returned some of them to the lessor and put the remainder in storage a few years ago. Note the green light visible in the distance. BNSF has installed push-button switches in the yard, making it a lot easier for the crews to throw the switches. A crew switches around a pair of ES44ACs, a pair of Oakway SD60s and an SD60M (wearing the Heritage scheme). The crew was in the process of taking the fifth unit (BNSF 6267) and setting it up as the tail end DPU unit on their train. It does so over a truly impressive bridge just west of the switch into the yard. Here, an eastbound load crosses the river and enters the yard on a crystal clear, 90°F day.
