This is one of those "artsy" type shots, but I really liked the setup. The shot is designed to demonstrate the quiet residential street of Atwood being stirred by the freight rolling right down the middle! The car to the left is a Galaxie 500.

A fairly typical consist for the southbound HLAUDEN as it moves slowly down Atwood Street. Trains here don't go much faster than 15-20 MPH and local residents get a nice wakeup call!

The southbound HLAUDEN heads right down the middle of Atwood Street in Longmont. While the tracks don't actually run down the middle of the asphalt, this is definitely some finest street running around. Houses line either side of Atwood Street.

FURX 7223 leads the HDENLAU north through Longmont. And in the case, the term "through" is not exaggerating at all! BNSF's Front Range Sub runs right up the middle of Atwood Street in Longmont - houses on either side of the street. The train creeps up the street at a speed of no more that 10 to 12 MPH!

Not quite "true" street running, the tracks still run down the middle of Atwood Street in Longmont, CO. A trio of SD45's lead a high priority BNSF train south.
