However, there are some here and there. One such example is this lone (and relatively short) palm tree located just northeast of US-59 overpass at El Campo, TX, 65-70 miles southwest of Houston. The train is passing underneath US-59, which has signs along the route indicating it is the "future alignment for I-69". KCS 5007 is one of 25 ET44ACs on the roster, and probably the last units ever delivered in the KCS "Retro Belle" paint scheme. Since the official approval of CPKC, it has not taken much time for KCS and CP units to become "mixed" across the former two systems.
