The train is configured 1x1, meaning there is a single unit on the head end and, as seen here, a single DPU bringing up the rear of the train. As the work day comes to an end, traffic on the Diagonal Highway is starting to pick up. This highway connects the cities of Boulder and Longmont and sees a lot of traffic over the course of a day.
