Three elephant-style GEs lead an eastbound loaded oil train across West Bijou Creek on the KP, just west of Byers. Half of this bridge was completely rebuilt 10-15 years ago. From this shot, you can probably tell which half of the bridge received that rebuild!

UP 6168 and the rest of the Limon Local cross the relatively long bridge over West Bijou Creek. At this time of year, there currently is no creek at all. It is entirely dried up! Something of note with the power on the train is the fact that both of the first two units once sported scarlet and gray, as they were both once rostered on Espee's roster!
