While much of the area around Union Station has significantly changed in the last two decades, the core structure of Union Station itself has not. It has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. While the exterior has changed little, the interior has been remodeled extensively. In particular, it now houses the Crawford Hotel.

Union Station is sporting its Christmas colors, as well as a Christmas tree out front and many other trees adorned with white lights. This is the view of the station as seen from across Wynkoop Street, specifically on the southwest corner of Wynkoop and 17th Street.

The inside of Denver Union Station looks very festive for the 2024 holiday season. In addition to the Christmas tree, note the garland as well as the wreaths on the windows.

Several folks are enjoying some drinks at the Terminal Bar. Not a bad place to hang out with some friends, particularly in the holiday season with the Christmas decorations in place!
