CNW 8829 pulls its empty coal train into the clear on the siding at Plain, waiting for a meet with an eastbound coal load. It is quite cold as the train enters the cut known as "Rainbow Cut".

What is this? A Chicago & North Western this far west. I thought their lines were only in Wyoming and not Colorado. It must have something to do with their affiliation with Union Pacific.
