The Valmont Coal train is stopped in Boulder on the Front Range Sub while the conductor walks the train. The coal is provided to the Valmont power plant in Boulder by Union Pacific. However, BNSF provides the crew (and power) to get the train to Boulder from Denver. On this day, the power was CN 2680 and NS 9320, both C44-9CW's. Both are rare visitors to Colorado!
