One of the last three Rio Grande GP30's to be retired off the roster, DRGW 3006 was officially retired on December 23, 1998. By May of 1999, it was spotted in Burnham in storage. The unit was (as possibily is?) owned by Daniel Quiat, who will supposidly restore the paint and perhaps even get the unit in operational condition again.
