The man standing on the back of the tank car is the engineer, conductor, and brakeman for this particular switch job. UPY 1160 is a Remote Controlled Locomotive. If you look, you can see the beltpack just above the waste of the UP employee. He handles the switching and the power.

I have been looking for pictures on the web for the railroad around the Lamar St. crossing. I have an idea for a small Rio Grande switching layout module. I have looked at the area from the Arial google photos but have not seen any from ground level. Bonus that you have pictures showing actual switching going on. Which I had more time and space to do the Rio Grande right with mountains. Thanks again.
