Here's a train that I would usually shoot on the Front Range Sub. This GATBNV is an empty Sulfur Train headed for Bonneville, WY. Upon arriving in Denver, it will get a quick crew change and head north on the Front Range Sub.

WOW !!! Both the composition and lighting are near perfect, and the subject matter is fantastic. Great pic.

Great Shot! In today's day and age you just don't capture pics like this much any more. Caboose, Industry, RR building, multiple tracks, mountain in the background. Very Nicely Done!

I think this is a great shot. First of all a northbound with sun on it's front is unusual at this location and you hit it right. Second, the frameing of this shot is almost perfect with the old RR building on the left, the caboose on the right and the overhead bridge all contrilblute to perect composition. But to add to that the clutter of the power plant in the background, the jointed rail in the two forground tracks and the syemtry of the empty Ethanol tanks just makes for a classic railroad shot. that will be timeless. I'm from the Springs and it makess me wish I was back there right now.
