About a mile and a half south of Broomfield, BNSF's Brownville, TX to Laurel, MT manifest is stopped on the main track and waiting. They are going to meet a southbound at Broomfield which is still nearly two hours away! So, to avoid blocking any crossing, the crew sits and patiently waits. This is a good place to stop as it is close to a new Super Target! Crew can go an get some shopping out of the way while waiting.

Good question! BNSF received some "pre-production" ES44DCs from GE prior to the "New Image" scheme being released. This is one such unit!

Great shot Kevin!! Why is it they kept the paint the same on this new ES44DC when they could of painted over it to the phase 3?
