The Zephyr makes its way through one of the numerous (too many to count) S-Curves along the Colorado River. The tracks actually follow the river for over 230 miles, from Granby, CO to Westwater, UT.

It's interesting, I caught this same train at East Portal because it was running late along with NYRO at Rollinsville shortly afterward. Was back home in Colorado attending a wedding in Boulder later that day.
