A southbound "Earthworm" is heading south along I-25 just south of Castle Rock. I caught two trains on the Joint Line on this day and, to my amazement, neither was a coal train! Crazy how much Castle Rock has grown in the past decade.

Yes, Castle Rock has grown. I've lived in the area since 1984 and it's nothing like it used to be. It's a great place to live if you like trains though; you've got the northbound tracks to the east and the southbound tracks to the west. I hear the northbound trains brow their horns through town every night; it's a comforting calm for me. Good shots Kevin! Keep 'em coming!
