A UP coal load on the newest of the four main tracks (Main 1) approaches the WY-59 underpass. Note that there is a green signal on Main 2 for a westbound (geographic northbound) which has already departed Bill.

If memory serves, this train also was being run in a 2x2 DPU configuration. The two on the point were definitely not the only two on the train!

Same comment as the previous photo of the BNSF train.  
Even allowing for the foreshortening effect, it does seem to be a substantial uphill grade for loaded coal trains!  
I was there years ago - mid-90's, when there were only 2 tracks as I remember. Obviously, I have to re-visit!!
