Ewww...I'm not exactly sure what that is in the water and I'm not sure I want to know! The MNYRO follows the head water of the Colorado River west through Byers Canyon with a lot of the water's top still frozen.

Nice catch! River appears to have sulphur from near by hot sulphur spring. Glad your Moffat journy found some trains. Mighty slow there lately. Crews have been cut including engineer turns.

I'm not sure which is more favorable, the pee yellow tint of the river ice, or the hidious double UP shield on that SP unit. Very nice photo Kevin!
