Just north of milepost 12, along Church Ranch Lake, a northbound coal empty picks up some speed as it approaches a work zone. The bridge that carries US-36 over the tracks in Westminster is being rebuilt, requiring a Form B to protect the construction workers. Everyone is in the clear here and the empty is now headed for Broomfield where it will run through the siding and meet a southbound.
