The westbound MNYRO is frequently long enough (and, thus, heavy enough) to merit a DPU. Unfortunately, on this chilly Friday, the DPU was facing the "wrong way" for the shot. Granted the direction of the DPU makes zero difference to the operation of the train...but I sure prefer it when the last DPU faces away from the train.

Like those old signals. My dad ran between SLC and Helper on the Grande. 1942 to 1969
