With sunset not far off, an eastbound unit oil train rounds Big Ten Curve. The hoppers you see have been sitting there for over 40 years! They are filled with dirt and are welded to the rails.

Randy, this was taken with Canon's 300mm fixed L-series lens. Always good to have a reliable telephoto lens in the arsenal. :)

Great shot of the windbreak on the curve. The Amtrak conductor tells that story as you head up the curve. Must have a big zoom?
