There is a fair amount of demand from Arvada residents to expand Indiana Street from a two lane road to a four land road. If and when that happens (it is not currently in the budget), it will require replacing the bridge over the tracks just west of Leyden. For the time being, the old Rio Grande bridge (with Rio Grande still visible!) is safe. Here, a C44/60AC and an SD70ACe bring up the tail end of an eastbound coal load as they cross Indiana Street.
