Being an "EMD guy", I really love how reliable old EMDs prove themselves to be. Railroads continue to rebuild and use EMD power that is 40+ years old! Here, the Hudson Turn sports two GP38-2. The first unit receive a repaint after its last rebuild, and sports the New Image scheme. The second units still wears the original Heritage scheme. While subtle, this shot clearly shots that the Heritage scheme did indeed use a very dark green, whereas the New Image scheme just uses black.
