Within the last week or so, the new north switch of Broomfield has been installed! As you can see, the diverging route leads to nowhere right now. But the grading for the siding is nearly complete! Rumor has it that BNSF track gangs will be showing up soon to get the new siding extension built.

I saw the track gang laying track in this location yesterday. Would have been coming right toward the camera and almost finished. 2 big 6 axle units were on the Buck branch and would have been in the upper left part of this picture.
