This exact scene (with two tracks) will not be possible too much longer! With the construction of a new underpass to connect 120th Avenue with CO-128, BNSF is moving the siding of Broomfield north of this location. Once that is complete, only the mainline will remain through this scene. This pair of B40-8s (551 being a B40-8W, of course) is slowly rolling south toward the south switch to wait for two northbounds.
