This shot looks south from Brainard Drive at the 3,000 foot extension of the Broomfield siding to the north. As you can see, track and ties have been laid and the siding is now waiting on some ballast. Also visible, in the distance, is a northbound coal empty headed for the Powder River Basin. It is waiting on a southbound currently in Boulder.
