It has been quite some time since I've seen one of these! A patched Chicago Northwestern AC4400CW actually has some of its patchwork wearing off. You can pretty clearly see that this was once CNW 8819. This is one of 35 such units that Chicago Northwestern got right before becoming a part of Union Pacific.

Glad to be of service! Other than the patch on the side of the cab, there is little to indicate this isn't still a CNW unit.

As a former C&NW rail fan (well, still, but) it was gratifying to view  
a unit still plying the rails in most of it's original paint scheme. Thanks for the great photos Kevin.
