A P40DC and a P42DC, both wearing the Phase III heritage scheme, cross over CO-72 at the base of Coal Creek Canyon. Personally, I'd love to see Amtrak's entire fleet repainted in this Phase III scheme. It has always been my favorite and makes for a mighty sharp shot on a crisp February morning.

Great shots as always. There is a P32 #704 in NY on the Yonkers run, called the Maple Leaf. It was recently shopped in the phase three paint. It has a emblem on the side of the statue of liberty. Runs with the phase three baggage car, looks sharp. We need the same with a zephyr emblem. Always like the phase three the best
