Most of the canyons on the Moffat (South Boulder, Fraser, Gore, etc) are not accessible unless you have a drone or go on a very long hike! It is lucky that US-40 runs through Byers Canyon on the opposite side of the Colorado River from the tracks. It offers nice views like this one, in which an eastbound coal load is pulling through the sharp curves of the canyon.
