A typical Zephyr consist slows to a stop at the platform in Fraser for a brief station stop. Regardless of the number of passenger getting on or off, the train stops for about ten minutes to give passengers a chance to smoke on the platform (as the train itself is strictly no smoking). In the distance, most of the Winter Park ski resort has shut down for the season.
