Just west of the west switch of Sulphur, the Zephyr glides down the grade and in to Byers Canyon. The train had been going around 55 MPH since Granby, but had to slow down to 25 MPH through the canyon. On the opposite side, the Zephyr will be able to accelerate back up to 70 MPH!
