The head end of the MGJNY is nearly halfway through Rocky as the tail end of the train still coming around Big Ten Loop. The train is 9,188 feet long and has 134 cars. 114 of the cars on the train are empty, so the train is relatively light. Three units on the point and a single mid-train DPU are sufficient power.
