The siding at Tabernash is a very interesting one. The siding makes a sharp curve to the left (when heading west) and there is a very large separation between siding at main. This is because there is a wye here and, at one point, this where helpers were station to cut in to heavy eastbound trains for the final shove up to the Moffat Tunnel. Today, the Zephyr glides down the main with AMTK 184 on the point.
