As the MNYGJ climbs out of Rocky, it is soon going to have a minor issue. The train is currently operating using a PTC software program called "Trip Optimizer". That software will crap out just ahead, causing the power on the train to drop to idle. The engineer will shut the software down and manually throttle the train back up. The train slowed to about 3 MPH when that happened, but the engineer kept it from stalling out.
