Here at Winter Park, close to 9,000 feet above sea level, many of the trees have already shed their leaves for the winter. However, several are still hanging on and offer up a great a backdrop for the westbound Zephyr. This is the last Monday the Zephyr will run for the foreseeable future as Amtrak has chosen to change all long distance trains to run three days a week instead of daily!
