The 2-10-2 "Santa Fe" class steam engine is a relatively short 72 feet (including its tender) when compared to a lot of its big brothers from steam history. For example, the 4-6-6-4 "Challenger", which is also on this hospital train, is 121 feet long (including its tender), nearly 50 feet longer!
