On a beautiful, clear Memorial Day morning, the westbound Zephyr has departed Denver right on time and is heading west on the main next to BNSF's Rennick's (intermodal) yard. Note Pike's Peak, clearly visible this morning, standing tall at 14,115-feet above sea level.
