Two AC4400CWs (both ex-Espee, SP 246 and SP 324), an ES44AC, and an SD70ACe lead UP's thrice weekly manifest between Grand Junction and Denver. This is the MGJNY-04. Rail traffic between Salt Lake City and Denver has, since 2018, traveled through Wyoming on the Overland Route rather than the former Grande.
