BNSF 4272 is pretty badly mangled after having been involved in a derailment on August 22, 2024 in Boulder. The nose door is missing, as are the front railings. One question at this point is whether or not the unit is about to be taken to the shop for repair, or if it will be taken to see a torch and scrapped...
