When it comes to older power, only about one third of UP's units were originally delivered as Union Pacific. The other two thirds are a mix of Missouri Pacific, MKT, Southern Pacific, and Rio Grande. UP 1482 was SP 7112 when it was absorbed into UP's roster. However, in this case, it was second hand to SP as well. It was delivered in March 1969 as B&O 3721.
