The westbound California Zephyr is conducting its daily station stop at Fraser. Not everyone on the platform is headed to or coming from Fraser. Fraser is a fresh air stop, where passengers can step off the train for fresh air, a quick smoke, or a leg stretch. Rumor has it that Amtrak is working to install a heated platform here at Fraser, reducing the risk of someone slipping and falling on ice.
